Vietnam confirms no routine health form — and names the website to avoid

The Ministry of Health disowned the circulating unofficial declaration website outright; entry for Nigerian passport holders stays an eVisa matter.

Start with the warning, because it protects your data: the unofficial declaration website circulating in travel groups is not Vietnam's health-declaration site, and the Ministry of Health says nothing should be submitted there. There is, in fact, nothing to submit anywhere — the border health form that was expected to become mandatory on July 1, 2026 is not being applied. Decree 165/2026/ND-CP merely gives authorities the option, to be exercised only when infectious diseases circulating abroad could realistically reach Vietnam through travel.

Nigerian passport holders therefore prepare exactly what they did before: the eVisa, plus the Vietnam Arrival Card where that separate immigration formality operates. If the health declaration is ever activated, the official channel will be announced publicly at the time, with a bilingual form accepted online or on paper within seven days of the border crossing.
