Overview

The Embassy of Peru in Brazil manages the bilateral relationship with the largest country in South America and a structural strategic partner for Peru. Brazil is one of Peru's main regional trading partners, a central counterpart in South American integration (Andean Community, Pacific Alliance, Amazon fora) and the country with which Peru shares one of the longest Amazon borders in the world. The Embassy's consular section operates from the same premises and handles consular matters for Peruvian citizens in Brazil.

Visa Services

The Embassy processes visa applications for Brazilian citizens travelling to Peru. Detailed requirements are published on the Embassy's portal.

Consular Services

The consular section of the Embassy handles passports, DNI national IDs, civil registration, notarial services and emergencies for Peruvian citizens in Brazil. Service window 09:00-13:00 Monday to Friday.

Trade & Export Support

The Peruvian commercial office (OCEX Brasilia) and PromPerú work closely with the Embassy to promote bilateral trade — minerals, agricultural products, textiles, manufactures — and productive integration between the two countries, particularly in the Amazon region.

Cultural & Educational Programs

The Embassy supports Peruvian-Brazilian academic and scientific exchanges, cultural programmes and cooperation in Amazon and biodiversity research.
