Overview
The Embassy of the Principality of Monaco in Washington DC represents Monaco to the United States. The US-Monaco relationship is characterized by strong personal and business ties, particularly in the areas of environmental conservation (Prince Albert II is a leading ocean conservation advocate), cultural exchange, and the presence of a significant American community in the Principality. The US does not maintain a diplomatic mission in Monaco; the US Consul General in Marseille, France, is formally accredited to Monaco. A Consulate General of Monaco in New York complements the Washington embassy for the northeastern United States.
Service Area
The embassy covers the United States. A Consulate General in New York provides additional coverage for the northeast.
